This page explains how data is processed to operate, secure and improve Askaide.
Account, profile, listings, conversations and support.
You choose which profile information is public.
Access, correction, deletion and other applicable rights.
Askaide may process account and contact details, profile information, listings, messages, reviews, reports and support requests. Technical session, security and navigation data may also be processed. For payments, Askaide receives confirmation from the payment provider without storing full card numbers.
Data is used to create and secure accounts, publish and search services, enable contact and messaging, process payments, prevent abuse, moderate content, provide support and improve the service. Non-essential audience measurement and advertising remain subject to consent choices.
Profile or listing details selected as public may be seen by visitors. Private messages are not published. Data may be shared with technical providers required for hosting, security, communications, consented analytics or payments. Askaide does not sell personal data.
Data is kept for as long as needed for the service, security, accounting or legal duties and dispute handling. Technical and organisational safeguards protect accounts and information, although no connected system can guarantee zero risk.
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability. You may withdraw future consent and contact the competent supervisory authority. Identity verification may be required to protect the account.
When these options are available in your account, you choose separately whether to connect Google Drive or Gmail. The connection supports actions you request in the document studio. You enter your Google account password with Google, not with Askaide.
The drive.file permission covers files created with Askaide or selected by you for the application. The import feature reads the title and text of a Google Docs or TXT file you own and places them in the editor. Export sends the document title and content, including contact details you added, to create a new copy in Google Docs.
At your request, Askaide sends Gmail the subject, your letter’s content and any recipient you entered to create a draft. Google’s gmail.compose permission allows draft management and email sending; the studio feature uses draft creation only. It does not read your inbox or send the message. You review it and decide whether to send it in Gmail.
Documents you save remain in your private area until you delete them. Their content and Google connection tokens are encrypted in Askaide’s database. Askaide also records granted permissions, connection status and references to created copies or drafts to display the result and prevent duplicate creation. Disconnecting alone does not erase these technical references.
You can delete a document in the studio and disconnect Drive or Gmail. Disconnecting immediately blocks its use by Askaide and asks Google to revoke permission. If Google does not confirm revocation, an encrypted token is retained for another attempt; you can also remove access in your Google account. Deleting an Askaide document or disconnecting Google does not delete copies or drafts already created at Google. For other retained data or an erasure request, use this page’s Contact Askaide link.
Importing a Drive file does not automatically trigger AI analysis. If you request generation, revision or translation and consent to sending the text, the selected information is sent to the Google services used for that action. Separate contact-detail fields are not automatically sent to the writing assistant; personal data you include in the text or notes is nevertheless part of that transfer. Review the result before saving, exporting or publishing it.
Askaide’s use and transfer of information received through Google APIs adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
